Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Affordable Housing Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financials at a Spokane, WA property.

You will supervise leasing, maintenance, and staff, ensure rent collections, and implement budget controls while upholding Fair Housing and OSHA requirements.

This on-site role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to balance resident relations with regulatory compliance to maximize occupancy and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, etc.).
• Affordable Housing Accreditation (HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) preferred.
• Ability to post payments and reconcile receivables.
• Experience with budgeting and NOI goals.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from applicants and residents accurately.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt and file evictions as needed.
• Lead on-site staff and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Support marketing and leasing strategies to maximize occupancy.
• Conduct regular unit inspections and ensure move-out charges are posted.
