Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Affordable Housing Assistant Community Manager to supervise on-site operations, manage leasing and staff, and support budgeting and financial reporting. The role focuses on delinquency management and ensuring compliance with fair housing and safety standards at an affordable housing community.

The position requires on-site leadership, strong customer service, and coordination with the Community Manager to maintain property performance and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing industry.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site operations under Community Manager supervision.
• Assist with delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise staff performance, training, and compliance with policies.
• Assist with budgeting, reporting, and month-end close procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines.
