Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Affordable Housing Assistant Community Manager to oversee onsite operations, leasing, and financials at Grand Oaks. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with fair housing, and managing rent collections to optimize cash flow.

Ideal candidates have affordable housing program experience (LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, etc.), strong leasing skills, and a background in budget planning and NOI optimization. On-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Supervise site staff and ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.
• Post payments and income; reconcile receivables; monitor delinquencies and evictions.
• Plan and implement leasing strategies; monitor renovations and maintenance; manage budgeted revenues and NOI.
