Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a hands-on manufacturing leader to supervise assembly and machining operations at our Charlotte, NC facility. This fully onsite role requires coaching and daily involvement with hourly staff to meet on-time delivery, safety, and quality goals.

You will implement lean initiatives, manage attendance and payroll, conduct trainings, and drive continuous improvement through Kaizen events and root-cause investigations while ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and internal

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a two-year Associate degree; a Bachelor’s degree is strongly desired.
• 2+ years of progressive manufacturing production experience, preferably in mechanical products.
• Solid background in machining techniques (including CNC) and/or mechanical assembly.
• Prior supervisory experience of hourly production employees is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and direct work; enforce policies and procedures.
• Manage attendance and approve timekeeping for payroll processing.
• Interview, onboard, and train employees.
• Coach, develop and mentor staff; conduct performance appraisals and actions.
• Lead lean initiatives and Kaizen events to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Support Production Manager with strategic deployment of Rexnord objectives.
• Maintain safety through audits and regulatory compliance (OSHA/EPA/NCDEQ).
• Coordinate and implement corrective actions; provide technical guidance on new procedures.
• Analyze workforce utilization and layout for efficiency; write work instructions and reports.
• Assist with new product launches and BOM/routing improvements.
