Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp in Charlotte, NC is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead assembly and machining teams on-site. You will coach, mentor and work alongside staff daily to meet delivery goals.

You will plan and direct work, manage attendance for payroll, interview and train employees, and drive lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost across the facility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on supervisor in a fast-paced assembly and machining environment.

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Scope of leadership role

This role requires an individual to carry out various duties and responsibilities with a sense of urgency to support Boston Gear's on time delivery objectives while supporting machining, mechanical assembly, painting/packaging and the distribution of products. The position is "hands on" in a fast-paced, physically demanding assembly and machining environment and requires a supervisor who is willing and able to coach, develop and mentor as well as work alongside, their employees daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervisory responsibilities to include, but not limited to: planning, assigning, and directing work; administering and complying with Company policies and procedures.
• Managing attendance and approving timekeeping records in a timely manner for processing payroll.
• Interviewing, onboarding, and training employees.
• Managing performance, writing and conducting performance appraisals, and administering corrective actions.
• Proactively responding to employee concerns to ensure high morale and maximum employee satisfaction.
• Facilitate, promote, support, and implement lean manufacturing initiatives that drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost in the Assembly and Machining departments across the facility.
• Following the Regal Rexnord Business system, tools and methods.
• Lead and/or participate in Kaizen events and participate in daily Tier 1,2,3 meetings.
