Virtua Health is seeking a part-time One-to-One Observer at Burlington Hospital to provide continuous one-to-one patient observation, ensuring a safe environment and supportive interaction. The role involves communicating with the healthcare team, patients, and family as needed, while upholding high professional ethics.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, assisting in restraints when required, and orienting the healthcare team to ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
