Virtua Health is seeking a part-time One-to-One Observer for Burlington Hospital to provide continuous patient observation and support the healthcare team. The role requires calm interaction, safety, and adherence to professional ethics in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include constant patient monitoring, communicating changes to the RN, assisting in team orientation, and performing other duties as assigned. Strong communication and a high school diploma are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Provides constant one‑to‑one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
