Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a One to One Observer to provide constant one-to-one patient observation and support for the healthcare team. You will communicate with patients and the team while upholding high standards of professional ethics in a safe environment.

The position is on-site in Mount Holly, NJ, offering part-time hours and a focus on patient safety, restraint care when needed, and timely reporting to the RN. Join a dedicated staff delivering quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Training/Certifications/Licensure: Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
