Job summary

Virtua is seeking a part-time One to One Observer at Burlington Hospital to provide constant observation of patients and support the healthcare team.

The role requires effective communication, completion of Observer course, and adherence to safety and ethical standards. You will work day shift with total weekly hours 24, on-site in Burlington, NJ, with a comprehensive benefits package for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient's status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
