Virtua Health is seeking a One to One Observer to provide constant patient observation and support the healthcare team at Burlington Hospital. You will maintain high professional ethics and assist in the orientation of staff, while ensuring a safe environment for patients in your care.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, applying restraint care as needed, communicating changes to the RN, and fulfilling other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Observer course or equivalent mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Provides constant one‑to‑one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
