Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with additional education credits or ParaPro assessment.
• Official transcripts or ParaPro results required for application.
• Experience working with children in educational settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage student behavior and support teachers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with individual student instruction and behavior management.
• De-escalate behavioral crises and implement behavior plans.
• Dispense or assist with incidental medications per policy.
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain data records.
• Support students with disabilities and participate in team meetings.
• Attend required trainings and maintain confidentiality.
