Job summary

Aspen Ridge Elementary in Maple Grove, Minnesota, is seeking an Educational Support Professional (ESP) to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a student in a Center-Based Special Education program. You will work closely with the classroom team to implement IEP accommodations and foster independent, social-emotional growth in a structured setting.

The role involves assisting with academic tasks, coordinating with teachers and therapists, and participating in district training.

Qualifications

• HQ eligibility required by start date per Minnesota Department of Education.
• Two years of college or an associate's degree meets HQ.
• Passing score on ParaPro, ParaEducator, or ParaPathwaysAssessment may also qualify.
• District will pay for the assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous 1:1 support for a student during a 6-hour school day.
• Implement accommodations and IEP-directed plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to monitor progress.
• Assist with physical or specialized care needs as outlined in the care plan.
• Maintain an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
