Job summary

Aspen Ridge Elementary in Maple Grove, Minnesota is seeking a dedicated Educational Support Professional to join the Resource Special Education team. You will work with individual or small groups, supporting students across academic, social, and emotional development, under the supervision of the special education teacher.

This 6-hour daily, school-year position emphasizes collaboration with teachers and staff, adherence to IEP accommodations, and fostering a safe and inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• HQ status required to start per Minnesota Department of Education.
• Two years of college study or an associate's degree or passing ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathwaysAssessment.
• The District will pay for the assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to assist students with learning activities, routines, and behavior management.
• Implement accommodations, modifications, and strategies per IEP.
• Collaborate with Special Education teachers and staff for student progress.
• Support students in meeting individualized academic and functional goals.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
