Job summary

Osseo Area School District ISD 279 is seeking an Educational Support Professional (ESP) to work 1:1 with a student in a Resource Special Education setting, 6 hours daily, part-time for the school year. You will support learning activities, routines, and behavior management while collaborating with SPED teachers and staff.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma and HQ status by start date per Minnesota requirements; district will pay for the assessment.

Qualifications

• HQ eligibility by start date per Minnesota Department of Education.
• Must have ability to work with children, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to student with learning activities and routines.
• Implement accommodations and strategies per IEP.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff for student progress.
• Support student in achieving academic and functional goals.
• Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in district training program before and during employment.
