Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Clinical Account Executive for Oncology servicing West Palm Beach, FL and surrounding areas. The role is field-based, with candidates expected to reside within the territory and travel regularly to meet physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and administrators.

You will develop a territory plan, deliver scientific and clinical insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide coordinated customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics
• Desire and ability to take on larger roles faster than peers
• Competitive selling skills
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Persistency and grit with a track record of succeeding in a challenging environment
• Driving a personal auto or company car
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screening
• Regular business travel by air or car is required

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy
• Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key stakeholders
• Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise while delivering compliant, customer-focused engagements
• Partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences
• Continuously evaluate territory performance using data and insights to optimize execution
• Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every interaction
• Complete AbbVie required training and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities
• Meet healthcare industry credentialing requirements to access facilities in the territory
