Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Clinical Account Executive for the Pittsburgh, PA territory to lead oncology sales initiatives. You will build strategic plans, establish strong relationships with oncologists, nursing and office staff, and collaborate with the extended AbbVie team to drive brand objectives.

The role requires deep disease state knowledge, field-based activity, and a commitment to compliant, ethical selling. Travel and thorough product expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 6+ years Oncology including Solid tumors sales experience preferred; hospital sales or strong account management experience considered.
• Buy-and-Bill experience preferred.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a highly collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication with a consultative selling approach.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed assigned sales goal.
• Present approved disease state and product information to customers with persuasive selling within AbbVie policy.
• Leverage analytics to create strategic territory plans aligned with brand objectives.
• Execute sales/marketing strategies within the territory with cross functional partners.
• Build knowledge of evolving marketplace, territory changes, and disease state knowledge.
• Collaborate with territory partners and external counterpart(s).
• Develop and execute a call plan achieving metrics and optimizing coverage.
• Comply with laws and AbbVie policies.
