Job summary

Trinity Health in Hartford, CT seeks an Oncology Scheduler to coordinate and schedule all oncology appointments for established patients, including lab work, infusion treatments, chemotherapy, imaging, nutrition, genetics and survivorship visits across multiple locations.

The role requires proficiency with Epic, Outlook and Word, excellent organization, and the ability to assemble treatment cycles with up to 20+ appointments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient knowledge of Medical Terminology required.
• Understanding of surgical procedures.
• Requires proficiency in Epic, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• Schedule cancer treatment appointments for patients in multiple locations.
• Coordinate with medical secretaries and providers to fit treatment timing.
• Create multiple appointments to establish a treatment cycle and adjust as needed.
• Work with patients to develop timely and convenient cycles according to infusion specs.
• Manage booking for doctor visits, infusion, labs and related appointments.
• Coordinate schedules for drug administration and infusion chairs across Oncology and related departments.
