The US Oncology Network is seeking a Scheduler for the Fort Worth Cancer Center location. This full-time role supports patient scheduling, tests, and coordination with medical staff, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30am to 5:00pm and no weekend or holiday work.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, medical office experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with scheduling software and insurance authorizations is preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years’ experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, scheduling and/or authorization experience preferred.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.

Responsabilidades

• Answer all incoming calls and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Schedule patient appointments and tests in the EMR system according to physician guidelines.
• Obtain and communicate messages accurately and timely.
• Assist with insurance authorizations and referrals in patient records.
• Collect co-pays and other amounts at time of visit.
• Maintain scheduling templates and coordinate with front office staff.
• Follow confidentiality policies and comply with compliance program.
