Job summary

The US Oncology Network is seeking a Scheduler for Texas Urology Specialists in Arlington/Fort Worth. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with no weekends, no on-call, and no major holidays.

Responsibilities include handling patient calls, scheduling, insurance authorization, and payments, while protecting patient confidentiality. Level can be 1, 2, or Senior based on experience; candidates should have strong communication and MS Office skills and be comfortable with EMR systems

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years’ experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, scheduling, and/or authorization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers all incoming calls; assesses callers’ needs and directs to appropriate personnel.
• Schedules new patients, referrals, and returning patients in the computer system per physician/office guidelines.
• Obtains and enters insurance authorization and referrals in EMR.
• Collects co-pays, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket amounts at visit.
• Maintains scheduling templates and coordinates with clinic staff.
