Duly Health and Care is seeking an Oncology Scheduler who supports appointment scheduling for Oncology & Hematology patients. The role involves answering the appointment line, rescheduling, and coordinating infusion and provider appointments while supporting nursing staff with faxes and calls.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation.
• Ability to quickly learn and use new computer systems.
• Professional interaction with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly manner.
• Verify patient information and accuracy.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments and pre-op testing as needed.
• Contact patients to confirm appointments and procedures.
• Explain prep instructions and route to nurse when needed.
• Prepare paperwork for doctors, referral coordinators, and files.
• Verify daily doctor schedules with facilities.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and a clean workspace.
• Cover for coworkers as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
