Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to oncology patients within the Cancer Center and support specialty care across multiple departments.

You will participate in rounds, manage MTM, dosing, and adverse effects, and oversee chemotherapy preparation while contributing to policy development and staff education. This is a full-time clinical position supporting inpatient and outpatient services.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with IDFPR.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Clinical work experience in a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care: Intervene to improve prescribing, administration, and monitoring practices.
• MTM: Provide MTM services and patient education per state act.
• Dosing: Determine optimal doses based on age, weight, and organ function.
• Collaborate with hematology/oncology and inpatient pharmacy teams (inpatient & outpatient).
• Prepare investigational and standard chemotherapy for trials carefully and timely.
• Maintain study binders with protocol and procedures for trials.
