Job summary

Carle Health's oncology pharmacy team seeks a licensed pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to oncology patients and support specialty services across multiple departments. You will participate in MTM, dosing recommendations, chemotherapy preparation, and rounds, collaborating with hematology/oncology and inpatient teams to optimize patient outcomes.

This role involves leadership of technicians, development of policies, and participation in research and drug usage evaluations

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with IL IDFPR credentials
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required
• Clinical work experience in pharmacy setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and MTM to improve prescribing and monitoring
• Determine dosing based on patient factors and organ function
• Collaborate with hematology/oncology and inpatient teams
• Oversee chemotherapy preparation and participate in rounds
• Develop and maintain study materials and protocols for investigational trials
• Support transitions of care and staff development
• Assist with policy development and safety initiatives
