Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers is seeking an experienced Patient Service Coordinator at the Skyridge Medical Center Campus in Lone Tree. This role supports scheduling, referrals, and front-office coordination within a busy oncology clinic.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, at least three years of medical office experience, and strong communication skills. The position emphasizes confidentiality and teamwork in a patient‑centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Position requires at least 3 years of office experience, medical office preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficiency with computer systems required (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel a plus).

Responsibilities

• Schedules new patients and return appointments in the system per physician/office guidelines.
• Obtains and enters referrals and related correspondence in charts.
• Schedules outpatient appointments, testing, and hospital admissions.
• Obtains necessary pre-certifications and handles new patient referrals.
• Collects co-pays, deductibles and other out-of-pocket amounts at visit time.
• Manages incoming calls from patients needing scheduling assistance.
• Provides patients with appointment cards and follows up on no-shows or rescheduling.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and supports front office efficiency.
