Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Denver invites an experienced Patient Service Coordinator to join the Rose Medical Center Campus. You will schedule new and returning patients, manage referrals, and coordinate appointments in a fast-paced oncology setting.

The role requires strong communication, office experience, and proficiency with computer systems; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus. The team emphasizes care, compassion, and commitment in serving patients.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with computer systems required; Microsoft Office suite a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedules new patients and return appointments in computer system in accordance with physician and/or office guidelines.
• Obtains and enters all authorization and correspondence relating to referrals in patients charts and computer.
• Schedules outpatient appointments/testing and hospital admissions upon request.
• Obtains necessary pre-certification as required.
• Handles new patient referrals, gathers necessary information, assigns the patient account number and schedules appointment.
• Collects co-pays, deductible and other out of pocket amounts at time of visit.
• Follows up with patients to reschedule missed appointments and arranges for financial counseling as needed.
