Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Lakewood, CO is seeking an experienced Patient Services Coordinator/Scheduler for a busy oncology clinic. You will coordinate patient care by scheduling, communicating with providers and patients, and ensuring accurate documentation.

The role requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to exceptional patient service, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of medical office experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems; Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedules new patients and return appointments in the computer system per physician and office guidelines.
• Obtains and enters all authorization and correspondence relating to referrals in patient charts and computer.
• Schedules outpatient appointments/testing and hospital admissions upon request.
• Obtains necessary pre-certification as required and handles new patient referrals, gathering information and scheduling.
