Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Lakewood, CO is seeking an experienced Patient Services Coordinator/Scheduler for a fast-paced oncology clinic. You will coordinate patient care through accurate scheduling and clear communication with providers and staff.

The role requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to exceptional patient service. Salary range is $19.30–$26.00 per hour, with a benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of office experience preferred in medical office.
• Excellent communication and written/verbal skills; proficient computer use.

Responsibilities

• Schedules new patients and return appointments per physician guidelines.
• Enter referrals and authorizations in patient charts and systems.
• Schedule outpatient appointments, testing, and hospital admissions as requested.
• Obtain pre-certifications as required and coordinate new patient referrals.
• Collect co-pays and other payments at time of visit; maintain scheduling book.
• Handle calls from patients needing to schedule or reschedule.
