Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a patient access coordinator to greet patients, handle registration tasks, verify eligibility, and schedule appointments with professionalism.

The role requires accuracy, empathy, and strong communication within a care-team environment. You will support opening/closing procedures, manage requests from Access Center, and ensure patient-centric service throughout the visit.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Preference given to graduates of administrative training programs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a polite, prompt, and compassionate manner during all practice-based interactions.
• Perform clerical duties: check-in, consent, check-out, pre-registration, real-time eligibility verification, registration, MyChart education, scheduling, and payment collection.
• Provide waiting room concierge service and assist with kiosk check-in processes.
• Support practice opening/closing, mail processing, cash handling, and faxes indexing.
• Assist other team members by addressing in-basket messages and time-sensitive scheduling requests.
