Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse in Lewiston, Maine, to provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting. You will administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol, perform assessments, monitor treatment response, and educate patients and families on plans and side effects.

HIPAA-compliant documentation and collaboration with the oncology care team are essential.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
