Job summary

Confidential in Lewiston, Maine is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in the infusion setting. Provide direct care to oncology patients, administer chemotherapy and IV therapies, and monitor treatment responses. Must hold a current state RN license with BLS and ACLS on hire.

Minimum of one year of oncology experience preferred; HIPAA-compliant documentation and patient education are essential. Shifts available: Days.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care
