Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. You will provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting and administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.

Requirements include current and valid state RN license, BLS and ACLS upon hire, and at least one year of RN Oncology experience. Pay ranges up to $64 per hour, with shifts available Days.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain.
• ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum one year RN Oncology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
