RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Oncology Float Pool Department at the New Brunswick campus. This role supports trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology units within a Magnet-designated academic medical center.

Nurses in the float pool provide exceptional care, demonstrate teamwork, and adapt to varied populations. Night shifts are 7p–7:30a, 36 hours per week with some weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
• Ensure patient safety and employ evidence-based practice.
• Report safety issues such as hazards and medical errors.
• Supervise and direct delegation to team members.
• Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes.
