Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for the Oncology Float Pool Department at the New Brunswick campus. Night shift, 36 hours per week (7p-7:30a, Mon–Fri with some weekends/holidays).

You will provide expert nursing care across trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology units. The role requires ASN or Nursing Diploma, NJ RN license, 2–3 years of Medical Surgical/Oncology experience, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required; active NJ RN license.
• Minimum 2–3 years Medical Surgical/Oncology experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within scope of practice and ANA ethics.
• Ensure patient safety and apply evidence-based practices.
• Report safety issues and medical errors promptly.
• Know the patient population served and adapt care plan.
• Supervise and direct task delegation to team members.
• Use nursing process to address patient needs and priorities.
