Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Oncology Float Pool at the New Brunswick campus. Nurses in the float pool support multiple units and provide care across oncology, trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics and more.

Night shift, 36 hours per week, 7:00 pm–7:30 am, some weekend/holiday rotation. Requires ASN or Nursing Diploma, 2+ years oncology experience, BSN within 5 years, and NJ RN license.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required
• 2+ years of Oncology experience
• BSN must be completed within 5 years upon hire
• ONS / Oncology certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice and ensure patient safety.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to appropriate team members.
• Collaborate with other patient care providers to coordinate care.
• Apply nursing process to patient care plans and evaluate outcomes.
