RWJBarnabas Health seeks a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for the Oncology Float Pool at the New Brunswick campus. This role supports patient care across multiple units and ages, leveraging theater of care across trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics and oncology.

The Float Pool emphasizes nursing excellence with Magnet designation, flexibility, and teamwork. Night shift, 36 hours per week, 7p-7:30a, with occasional weekend/holiday rotation, while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Proficient computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Ensure safety in practice and apply evidence-based practice concepts.
• Report safety issues and medical errors promptly.
• Know the patient population served and tailor care accordingly.
• Supervise and delegate tasks within the care team.
• Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes.
