Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Float Pool at the New Brunswick campus. The part-time, night position offers 36 hours per week with 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM shifts and some weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA code of ethics.
• Maintain safety and apply evidence-based practice; monitor knowledge and skills.
• Report identified safety issues and medical errors.
• Know the patient population served; manage diverse needs.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members and collaborate with other care providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes and contribute to the care plan.
