Job summary

Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to cover the Washington DC territory. The role is field-based, requiring travel to visit customers in person and participate in national sales meetings and conferences.

You will educate stakeholders about our oncology products, collaborate with the Oncology Customer Team Leader, and strive to meet or exceed territory sales goals while delivering a seamless customer experience across divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of sales experience.
• Or high school diploma with 8+ years of equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 10–15%.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals for the territory.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and understand practice structures and influencers.
• Communicate compelling, patient-centered rationale for oncology products.
• Understand cancer pathways and treatment options to inform customers.
