Job summary

Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to drive territory growth and educate key stakeholders about our oncology portfolio. You will work with the Oncology Customer Team Leader and field colleagues to meet or exceed sales goals while delivering patient-centered solutions.

This field-based role requires travel to physician offices and national meetings, with 10-15% overnight travel. Candidates reside near the district or within commutable distance to the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Healthcare/scientific field experience strongly preferred, including oncology-related roles.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, including overnight travel (10–15%).

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed assigned sales goals for the geography.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and build business relationships.
• Communicate the patient-centered rationale for our oncology products to stakeholders.
• Analyze market patterns and manage complex accounts and interdependencies.
• Collaborate with the Oncology Customer Team Leader and district team to develop short- and long-term plans.
