Job summary

Merck is seeking an Oncology Customer Team Leader (District Sales Manager) to lead a field-based Oncology Sales team across the Northwest District, covering WA, OR, ID, MT, WY. This remote, full-time role requires travel and strong leadership to drive sales and educate key stakeholders on our oncology products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of sales experience OR a minimum of high school diploma with at least 10 years of equivalent experience, with at least 4 years of working in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries.
• Travel the amount of time the role requires, 50 – 75%.
• Ability to establish relationships and networks within a customer organization and drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, and manage Oncology Sales professionals for their assigned district.
• Coach direct reports, oversee training, and complete people management processes for Oncology Sales professionals.
• Develop and resource their customer team to address customer needs.
• Maximize sales team's performance and help achieve/exceed sales and budget targets.
