Merck is seeking an Oncology Customer Team Leader (District Sales Manager) to lead a team of Oncology Sales Representatives and Specialists in the Northwest District (WA, OR, ID, MT, WY). This field-based role focuses on coaching, strategic selling, and partnering with customers to address needs while delivering on sales targets.

Travel up to 50–75% is required, with occasional visits to national sales meetings.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8+ years of sales experience in pharma/healthcare.
• Strong relationship-building and networking within customer organizations.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 50–75%.
• Legal work authorization for United States.
• Experience leading field-based oncology sales teams preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Hire, lead, and manage Oncology Sales professionals for their district.
• Coach direct reports, oversee training, and complete people management processes.
• Develop and resource their customer team to address customer needs.
• Maximize sales team performance and achieve sales and budget targets.
• Collaborate with Oncology Sales organization and cross-functional teams.
• Develop business plans and implement national sales strategies.
• Communicate with district and cross-functional teams; share best practices.
• Lead district sales meetings and guide the sales team.
• Conduct annual and ongoing performance reviews; manage discipline via HR.
