Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine, CA is seeking a Nurse Coordinator to independently coordinate patient care across pre-admit, hospitalization, discharge and follow-up in the outpatient setting. The role requires collaboration with the Director and Medical Director and delivering nursing services as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as an RN in oncology (inpatient or outpatient) or 1 year clinical oncology experience with recent cancer basics training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Current California RN license and BSN required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care across pre-admission, hospitalization, discharge and follow-up in the outpatient setting.
• Provide nursing services as needed and support education for patients and families.
• Collaborate with Director and Medical Director to grow the program.
• Maintain program data for analysis and RFPs.
