Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as an RN in Oncology (inpatient or outpatient) or 1 year clinical oncology-related experience with cancer basics coursework completed
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Current California RN license and Basic Life Support certification required
• All external candidates must have BSN degree

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the clinic using the nursing process
• Serve as the primary contact for oncology patients and families
• Educate patients and families on cancer care, procedures, medications, and chemotherapy
• Support clinic team in patient care sessions and follow-up planning
