Job summary

UC Irvine Health is seeking a Nurse Coordinator to independently coordinate patient care across the full continuum: pre-admit, hospitalization, discharge, and follow-up in the outpatient setting. You will educate patients and families, support program development, and work with the Director/Medical Director to grow the program.

The role requires a California RN license, a BSN, and BLS certification, with oncology experience preferred and strong communication skills for multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• RN license in California required
• Oncology experience preferred
• BSN required for external applicants
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for patients across pre-admit, inpatient, discharge and follow-up in the outpatient setting.
• Educate patients and families and support the continuum of care.
• Maintain program data for analysis and assist with program growth in collaboration with the Director/Medical Director.
