Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to guide the onboarding process for new hires and to mentor onboarding specialists. This role serves as the local point of contact for recruiting and works with teams to ensure a positive, efficient new-hire experience.

You will coordinate staffing, participate in weekly recruiting meetings, and help improve onboarding SOPs while handling required new-hire paperwork and assisting applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating onboarding processes and improving the new hire experience.
• Ability to mentor onboarding specialists and serve as local recruiting contact.
• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor team members to ensure positive candidate experiences.
• Maintain a pipeline of onboarding specialists to support staffing needs.
• Attend weekly recruiting meetings and coordinate with an outsourcing partner as needed.
• Develop and modify onboarding SOPs and related procedures.
• Process new-hire paperwork (I-9, direct deposit, etc.) and assist walk-ins with applications.
• Represent onboarding in job fairs and community outreach as required.
