Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate, Onboarding Specialist to lead a best-in-class new hire experience across the nation.

You will guide new hires, managers, and internal partners through pre-employment and onboarding steps, ensuring timely completion and a seamless first-day experience with white-glove service. The role partners with Recruiting, HR Business Partners, Talent Development, and Engagement teams to gather feedback, implement improvements, and support onboarding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Hospitality, HR or related.
• 5+ years corporate experience required.
• Experience with Workday is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Previous presentation experience desired.
• High attention to detail is required.
• Ability to work autonomously and self-direct priorities.
• Previous people leadership experience is a plus.
• Spanish speaking and writing literacy proficiency is a plus.
• Critical thinking and commitment to thorough work.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the first line of onboarding support for candidates to ensure access to information and a strong first impression.
• Lead pre-employment coordination including screenings, authorizations, and onboarding paperwork with tracking.
• Prepare and audit Workday hiring transactions and onboarding tasks for accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage a regional Onboarding Associate to support a consistent onboarding experience for field staff.
• Maintain accurate onboarding records and provide new-hire metrics for reporting.
• Coordinate with hiring managers, IT, Administrative Services and internal teams for a smooth first-day experience.
• Handle pre-employment escalations with HR Partners and leaders and document next steps per policy.
• Gather onboarding feedback and drive improvements to enhance the experience and efficiency.
• Contribute to HR projects and team priorities as needed.
