Job summary

Apache Industrial Services is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to partner with recruiters and field management to onboard new hires, rehires, and transfers, ensuring timely and thorough onboarding while providing daily updates on candidate progress.

The role involves guiding applicants through applications, coordinating background checks and training, maintaining confidential information, and collaborating with HR to improve the onboarding experience.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of onboarding experience in industrial/facilities maintenance.
• Experience with ATS or HRIS systems.
• Experience with background checks via web-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Supports onboarding with employment applications via phone or internet.
• Assists with translation for onboarding in English and Spanish.
• Supervises onboarding processes through clinics/training to ensure retention.
• Manages onboarding through completion and handles confidential information.
• Troubleshoots and escalates onboarding issues as needed.
• Collaborates with HR partners to review onboarding experiences and implement improvements.
• Completes I-9 via HRIS system.
• Provides follow-up to ensure clinic requirements and safety courses are completed.
• Provides daily/weekly updates to hiring managers on compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
