Job summary

Connecteam is seeking an Onboarding Manager in South Carolina to guide new customers from kickoff through payroll go-live. This hands-on, customer-facing role blends project management, system configuration, payroll knowledge, training, and cross-functional coordination.

You will work with partners and internal teams to ensure data, time tracking, PTO, payroll rules, and integrations are correctly configured, delivering a smooth onboarding and accurate, timely payroll for the first cycles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in onboarding or customer-facing SaaS roles with SMB & Mid Market clients.
• Strong PM skills with ability to manage multiple implementations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and training abilities.
• Tech-savvy with ability to quickly learn software and understand integrations.
• Strong organizational skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to build trusted relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer onboarding process.
• Manage a book of business from internal handoff through go-live and initial payroll stabilization.
• Build implementation plans around first clock-in, payroll periods, training requirements and deadlines.
• Lead kickoff, setup, training and client’s payroll.
• Maintain timelines, responsibilities, next steps, risks and customer communication.
• Lead discovery and solution design.
• Translate business requirements into a practical Connecteam setup.
• Identify complex requirements and design the right setup.
• Configure integrations and manage their deployment.
• Deliver training and manage stakeholders across teams.
• Coordinate across customers, partner, Sales, Support, Product, Integrations and leadership.
• Troubleshoot, escalate and document issues; escalate payroll-impacting risks.
• Maintain accurate account records and handoff documentation.
