Job summary

Connecteam is seeking an Onboarding Manager in Florida to guide new customers from partnership handoff through payroll launch. The role blends project management, system configuration, payroll understanding, and customer training to ensure timely and accurate payroll.

You will collaborate with partner Implementation Managers and Connecteam teams to validate employee data, time tracking, PTO, payroll rules, and integrations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, or customer-facing SaaS roles with SMB & Mid Market client sizes.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple implementations and priorities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Tech-savvy with ability to learn software quickly, troubleshoot issues, and understand integrations.
• Strong organizational skills and a customer-first approach for managing complex implementations.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with customers, internal teams, and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer onboarding process from handoff through go-live and payroll stabilization.
• Manage a book of business from partnership handoff through go-live and initial payroll cycles.
• Build implementation plans around first clock-in, payroll periods, and training requirements.
• Lead kickoff, setup, training, and client payroll processes.
• Coordinate across customers, partner, Sales, Support, Product, Integrations and leadership.
• Troubleshoot issues, escalate payroll-impacting risks, and document resolution.
