Job summary

Connecteam is seeking an Onboarding Manager to guide new customers from partnership handoff through payroll go-live. You’ll combine project management, system configuration, payroll process understanding, customer training and cross-functional coordination to ensure accurate, timely pay and a smooth onboarding experience.

As a payroll-first implementer, you’ll work with partner implementations and Connecteam teams to validate employee data, time tracking, PTO, payroll rules and integrations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in implementation, onboarding, or customer-facing SaaS roles with SMB & Mid Market clients.
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple implementations simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and training abilities for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Tech-savvy with ability to learn software quickly and understand integrations.
• Organized with a customer-first approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and internal/external partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer onboarding process from handoff to go-live and payroll stabilization.
• Build implementation plans around clock-in dates, payroll periods, training and deadlines.
• Lead kickoff, setup, training and client payroll activities.
• Maintain timelines, responsibilities, risks and clear customer communications.
• Lead discovery, solution design and translate business requirements to Connecteam setup.
• Configure integrations and supervise the integration setup.
• Deliver training and manage stakeholders across partners, Sales, Support, Product and Leadership.
• Troubleshoot issues, escalate payroll-impacting risks, and document decisions.
