Job summary

Manpower Maine is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator & HR Admin Support in Winslow, ME to guide new hires through onboarding, monitor progress, and coordinate pre-employment activities. This is a 3-4 month assignment with potential extension or permanent hire, paying $25/hour and a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Basic HR onboarding knowledge or understanding of HR operations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
• Organized, detail-oriented and proactive

Responsibilities

• Guide applicants through onboarding and assist new hires through the process
• Monitor onboarding progress and collect required paperwork, screenings, and documentation
• Coordinate pre-employment activities and help maintain hiring timelines
• Maintain employee records and assist with HR administrative tasks
• Respond to candidate and employee questions with professionalism and courtesy
• Support HR projects and day-to-day departmental activities
