Job summary

First Interstate Bank seeks a Community Market Specialist to partner with branch and market leaders, supporting onboarding, coaching, and training while strengthening client experience across multiple Nebraska branches.

You will monitor performance indicators, identify skill gaps, and collaborate on enterprise initiatives to reduce risk and support growth in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 4–6 years banking or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured onboarding and role transitions across assigned markets with training program adherence.
• Coach branch staff with real-time feedback and scenario-based training to ensure service quality and sales practices.
• Conduct branch visits to monitor standards, identify gaps, and reinforce policy compliance.
• Provide targeted coaching via observations, reviews, and documentation checks to reduce risk and improve accuracy.
• Collaborate with branch leadership to align on enterprise initiatives and address operational expectations.
• Track performance indicators (client experience, referrals, audits) and develop corrective action plans.
• Maintain onboarding updates, visit summaries, and evaluation documents for visibility and trend analysis.
